有別於來自日本越前的稻禾，台灣的長春棉紙，把農田中打穀後的稻殼，藉由抄紙時不規則的散落於紙漿內。與稻梗一段一段的感覺不同，在視覺上像是米飯上灑落稻殼，看著似乎讓紙變得更香了呢！

Rice husks are spread freely onto pulps during papermaking to create this unique texture. The paper itself looks like rice husks sprinkled on rice; you can seem to smell the rice just by looking at the paper.
